<p>you guys there’s a facebook page titled something like “gates scholarship applicants 2013” and a lot of people have been posting pics of their certificate on their from different places, so you guys should look there too.</p>
<p>Looks like Oklahoma got a hit on the FB page.</p>
<p>Came home to a big packet! I’m so happy, words can’t even explain how I feel right now!!! God is good.</p>

<p>What are they looking for mainly? Those with top grades, high test scores, a million volunteer hours? What did you do during your summers prior to senior year?</p>
<p>What do you think made the difference in acceptance? Also, did you guys start your essays early? </p>
<p>DD is a junior and will be applying to Gates in the fall…any advice/suggestions?</p>
