<p>can i apply for the Gates scholarship next year as a college freshman? Also, can the people who are current gates scholars post their stats?</p>
<p>Have you guys mailed your financial aid package? I’m sort of confused of how the process works at this stage. At the school I’ll be heading to in the fall, my financial aid package is on an online database. Among the package is workstudy and loans that I’m given an option to accept. Am I supposed to accept all loans and workstudy and then mail GMS a print out or am I supposed to just mail them a print out without accepting anything yet? How are you guys doing yours? How does the financial aid process work at your future colleges?</p>

<p>I will be attending UCLA this coming shcool year, however my financial aid package is also online, they haven’t sent me anything reviewing my financial aid package in the mail. I also need to get my shcool changed from UCSD to UCLA, how do I do all this? I have been trying to contact Gates using their phone number but no one ever picks up. I have left many voicemails too??</p>
<p>V4runcool if u change ur school u need to fax them a letter saying that u r changing schools, need to send them the acceptance letter and about the financial aid u should call them up.</p>
<p>What is happening? I still have not heard from Gates. They keep giving me dates to expect my reply. Anyone having that problem?</p>

<p>Hello everyone, it’s Bookwormgirl. Anyway, I noticed that the thread was dead and wanted to spark it back up again. I was wondering did anyone find out how much money their going to get from the Gates Scholasrship for the fall? I faxed my financial aid award letter on the 23rd of May and I haven’t heard from them yet. Thanks in advance!</p>

<p>I have logged in to the site already, Amearai. I logged in the day I received my username and password.</p>
<p>Bookwormgirl, when did you get your username and password? I haven’t received mine yet, was it in a letter or did you get it from someone on the phone?</p>
<p>I logged in the day I received the letter saying I was a scholar which was on April 6th. I called the GMS phone number and a lady gave me my username and password.</p>
<p>When I call that number all I get is an automated line saying to enter my social and pin, then when I try, it says i am not in the system.</p>
