<p>Daughter is in her sophmore year at very competitve eastern prep school. Her sister plays a helmet sport and is class of 2016 Yale. My question is this: Outside of just her times how do I help her get on the recruiting radar of such schools ? Xcountry and track are her sports.</p>
<p>Hi Charter - I know you’ve been down the Ivy recruiting road already so you know how it works. In track and XC - junior year times are the most significant. If she has some truly impressive (national level) times already, go ahead and fire off a few emails to the coaches. Otherwise I don’t see any harm in waiting until next year after XC to initiate the process.</p>
