Gays as TERRORIST, CORRUPTIVE and DESTRUCTIVE; GAY card; Gays as the BARABBAS of the

Science has pointed to innate causes again and again, but in the end I’m not sure why it even matters.

What if it IS “a choice”? Why should two consenting adults not be able to make that choice? It doesn’t hurt anyone else, so who cares?

It’s like saying, “Oh, Mr. Smith, you can have some steak. But Mr. Jones, you CHOOSE to like ice cream. SO NO ICE CREAM FOR YOU.”

The innate vs. chosen debate really doesn’t matter and isn’t even relevant to the original issue (but was merely a tangent being discussed here in response to a member saying he didn’t “agree” with homosexuality!).

The issue is about tolerance. I don’t see the issue with gays any differently than if people were fearful or against a particular race.

Okay…but let us discuss the concerns of those ladies:
First: “Gays are the next prominent “TERRORIST” group”

Why do you think they described G as terrorist…what reasons they could have to support that statement?
Was the statement related to the behavior of some of the attendants in that speech?
Is there something else? Let start with that statement and then follow with the others.

Greenery, looking for logic from these people is like looking for logic from – your cat. Let it go. You’ll never figure this out.

Now people are upset about sleeping? It seems especially mean to be against a person who is asleep.

Rising from the dead is logical but a moon made of cheese is beyond the pale? I say that in a joking way but as someone without religious beliefs, it’s endlessly amusing to me how people assume their beliefs are reasonable but other peoples beliefs? Now those are just weird.

Greenery, how can you attempt to make sense of what is, well…wacko kind of thinking?? Gays as terrorists is such a wacko idea, among many that I have heard over the years by people with some extremist type views that defy logic.

I must admit that this notion of gays as terrorists would provide great potential for satire! A skit on Saturday Night Live…etc.

It reminds me of a show I recently saw my D in. Her troupe created original sketches and songs about political topics and social issues. In one song, they had two white girls and one Black boy and the song was about how the girls were walking on the street (this is in NYC) and the boy was walking behind them and the boy sang about how they were scared of him because he was Black…well, I don’t recall the lyrics but it was humorous (you had to be there) because the satire made fun of those with these sorts of attitudes that defy all logic and certainly defy tolerance.
