Geary Halls 2008-2009

Anybody have any information about Geary halls? I just got my housing information and that is where I will be staying. Also, does Penn State offer floor plans to see the individual building?

I think Geary is a male dorm in Pollock.

Geary Hall is in East Halls, which is primary a freshman housing area. My D lived in Curtin Hall, just across the quad from Geary, Fall 2007 semester. Check out the Welcome Week website:

and eliving:

Well as of know I know it is in East Halls and it is Co-ed, my friend from last year who lived there, said it was all males, but I believe they changed it this year according this website. [Housing: Buildings](<a href=“Home Page | LiveOn”>Home Page | LiveOn)

^I looked at that website and it says McElwain’s commons desk/mail location is McElwain Commons. But when I checked my eLiving, it says:

Commons Desk: Pollock Desk
Mailbox Section: McElwain

This is pretty confusing.

Geary is in East. You can check out its location on the PSU map.

According to the housing site, it is co-ed and uses Findlay Commons.

So people have already gotten their room assignments? I haven’t gotten anything yet…

Before you receive your Welcome Week packet, you can logon to eliving to get your housing and roommate assignment:

[eLiving Housing Contract System](http://www.eliving.psu.edu/)

You will need your PSU student logon id and password (which you established on your ftcap day) to log on to eliving.

Got it, I’m in the Simmons building at South Halls. I think I’ll like being close to town…

dzirob33 - My S is in Simmons now (for summer session) and really likes it. We had requested South Halls for fall/spring, but he was assigned to East. I think we’ll try to switch, but I’m not sure if we’ll find anyone willing to give up a room in South.
