geh. more PS questions.

i’m working on the second prompt for the PS - the one that asks for a personal quality, etc etc. i’m doing personal quality - particularly resilience/persistence. the only thing is… HUGE SIGH the only example i have in my life is my family. now - i have avoided, quite desperately, choosing that as a subject to write in my PS, but i really don’t know what else to write.

without getting much into it - i share filial duties with my other siblings in taking care of family. i know - fully - that everyone has family issues, so i’m wondering - should i even broach this topic? i don’t want to seem like a pity party by ANY means, or be seen as if i think my family issues are the most significant and seem inconsiderate to others - that’d be the worse thing to ever do. but i’m at a loss of what else to do.

so: is it advisable to address family history?

Yeah well why not?

i dunno. i feel like it’d be…like calling for the pity card or whatever, and just be seen in a negative light, as if i’m using my family. and to be honest, it’s not a MAJOR issue - like cerebral palsy or anything. it’s just, it has had an effect in my life.

If it had an effect on your life and you think it’ll make you unique… why not?
