I read somewhere that Delta will be discontinuing drink and snack service on flights less than 350 miles. That sounds like a big nothing burger. People can survive for a short flight with no snacks or drinks.
We are returning home on the first of our 2 flights. I can’t recall if this is the thread (or therefore travel thread) where overseas health insurance was discussed, but we were chatting with some other passengers who were on a month long hiking trip in Spain and Portugal and he ended up in the hospital with food poisoning. They have the Geo blue insurance and said it was super easy. He was able to reach an agent who sent a confirmation certificate (the hospital was apparently a partner of some sort with geo blue and will hopefully get paid directly) and they were taken care of with that being accepted as a payment guarantee. We have the Allianz medical which if we were staying longer we might have needed as DH injured himself this morning, but he will get it looked at tomorrow at home. Stuff happens.
