<p>On your college application, do you list the APs that you’ve taken and the scores you got? If not, then do APs even matter in the application process or are they only for college credits?</p>
<p>At least for Harvard, there is a supplementary part of the common application that has an area for listing your AP tests and scores. They are not required for admission, but if your school offers them and you don’t take any (or the courses of equivalent difficulty), your chances of admission just dropped dramatically.</p>
<p>Yes, your transcripts will show all the AP classes you’ve taken and the score you got on the AP exam. It does matter considerably to colleges because just for taking the class, it shows you are taking more challenging curriculum than students who take regular classes.</p>
