Ok, so what if I’m a little interested in computer science, but my major is biological sciences (MCS)

Can I take some courses in CIT?

I’m confused to the fine line between the “seperateness” of the colleges.

If you’re interested in computer science, you would take classes in SCS, the School of Computer Science. CIT is for engineering courses.
And yes, you can! Programming courses are luckily pretty accommodating. As long as you are not pursuing a degree in CS, you do not need permission from anyone to take CS related courses as your electives.
