Hey, I’m going to be a junior after this summer, and I’m feeling the general pre-med anxiety I feel a lot of students are feeling. My GPA is crap. I have a 3.145 right now. Is 2 years enough to get this up? I feel like I’m in a hole right now. I also participate in academic research, volunteering at this one activity pretty consistently, and I’ll get clinical experience at some point. However, my grades are freakin me out. Also, I go to a tough, high ranked school and I’m doing a double major with two bs degrees. Would that factor in at all?

It will NOT help you and is obviously hurting your GPA. Drop the harder major and get that GPA up.

Med schools will not give you bonus points for a double major…not at all.
