General Question for this Year's Transfer Students

With regular applications skyrocketing once again - Harvard’s application pool increased (along with Yale, UVA, and the other top schools) - do you think it will only be harder for transfer students to get in?

Harvard indefinitely suspended transfer admissions. It’s been that way for a while now.

Same with Princeton.

I don’t think anyone knows what will happen this year. It’s very possible that the economy will make freshmen yields lower. In addition, there are kids at all the privates who may not be able to afford to go back next year.

Whether the colleges then go to the freshmen waiting list or look to transfers will be individual and will have mostly to do with class counts. But IMO there will be a lot of action after April as they begin to see how this economy effects them
