General Question(s) About Courses

So BC says that everyone is required to take one Arts course. Say I choose theatre.
I'm looking through the course book and I'm interested in taking Introduction to Theatre. However, there's a "Fall/Spring: 3" next to it. What does that mean? Does it mean that the course is offered in the fall and the spring? Or does it mean that the course comes in 2 parts?

Say the course (or any other course) is in two parts... will only taking the 1 out of the 2 sections be enough to complete that requirement? Or do we have to take both sections (fall and the spring) in order to complete 1 requirement?

Yes, it means that the same course is offered both semesters, not that it is a two-part course.

And it also means that the course is worth three credits.

Unsolicited advice, but if you take Intro to Theater and want easy classes, take Jorgenson or Enoch.
