I currently am a freshmen in HS. I have a 3.71 GPA unweighted and I’m not taking any honors classes. Next year I will be taking 2 honors though and more junior and senior year. By the time I graduate I will probably have taken 8 or 9 honors. I participate in theatre (in and out of school) and student council as well as Habitat For Hummanity and Bridges (a club that helps the elderly) If I keep all this up at this rate or better what are my chances of being accpected at BU as of now?

Whats room and board like? Do you room with a room mate or by yourself?

I’m thinking of double majoring in English and Education. Is this possible at BU or would the work load be too much?

Thank you so much! BU is my dream school and I’m willing to do anything to get in there

for now your doing great start working on your sat to be able to kick ass on it once you get to it

Hi,

I would say that you have a pretty good chance at getting into BU. Just make sure to keep your grades at that level throughout the rest of high school and keep participating in your favorite extra-curriculars.

BU has the second-largest university housing system in the United States. There is a huge variety of living situations for undergraduate students. You can choose between dormitories, suites, apartments in a variety of settings such as large dormitory buildings, brownstones, and the new high rise, Student Village 2. As a freshman, you will probably live in either Warren Towers or West Campus. These are large dormitory style residences with singles, doubles, triples, and quads. Costs can be found here: [2010?11 academic year BU Housing Boston University](http://www.bu.edu/housing/living/rates/year2010-2011/)

I can’t say for the your major situation - I am studying science, but I am sure it is possible. You can look into BUCOP which is BU’s collaborative degree program.

I hope this helps,
Brendon
