My son was directly admitted to the Kelley School of Business for Fall 2025. The IU General Scholarship Application is due February 1st. Are most of the scholarships need-based and will we still be considered for scholarships if we don’t submit a FAFSA? Also, does anyone have any advice for the essay prompt:
Address the topics listed below and provide any additional information you would like a scholarship committee to consider. Your essay should be no more than 1000 words and include ALL of the following:
● Details of any high school, campus, and/or community involvement you may have.
● A description of your field of study and your associated career goals.
● Details of any financial hardships or special circumstances you may have and how receiving a scholarship will assist you in reaching your goals.

Thank you! I see that there is a Kelley Scholarship Application in One.IU as well. Do you recommend completing both the General Scholarship Application and the Kelley one? Do both of them have non-need-based merit scholarship opportunities?
Where did you see something specific to Kelley on One.IU? I searched and couldn’t find anything. It seems like much of the content on the Kelley Scholarships page is for is-state students.
Yes, we are in-state. In One.IU, search scholarships. Then, you should see the general scholarship application for sure. This is what ours looks like which has a Kelley Scholarship Application. I believe it may only be for direct admit students.
Does anyone know where to look for scholarship notifications? I know the deadline was March 15 for notifications.
