Ok i just don’t understand how things work in US (I’m an international student)…
When colleges want teacher recs, does the teacher have to write a different rec for each application or do they write one and send it to all the colleges?
Same with counselor recs…
As far as I know, colleges look at the highest verbal and maths score for the SAT…is this true for all of them?

Generally, your teacher will write one letter for all colleges. However, each college has its own form. Your teacher does not have to fill this form out completely. He or she should just check the ratings boxes and attach the letter he or she wrote for you. The same thing applies for guidance counselors.

For most schools, they only consider your highest verbal and math scores. You should check with each school’s website to make sure of this.
