<p>being the kind of person that columbia wants will get you in. your gpa is fine, imo. if it were a 3.9 i don’t think it would make a difference. your admission will depend on your application holistically; you overall.</p>
<p>Omg thank u…I’m tired of hearing about genuine interest. Applying should show my interest. Thanks about the GPA people keep telling me it’s low.</p>

<p>Just showing an interest – even a genuine interest – in the school won’t get you in. Remember that out of every 100 applicants, 94 are rejected. It’s absurdly selective. That said, applying ED and having a genuine “Why Columbia?” response will make a difference.</p>
<p>Thank u but unfortunately I don’t think I can apply ED…I need to get more testing done. :(</p>
