I was wondering if anyone could give me an answer on whether the state of Arizona is considered an underrepresented state at the ivy leagues. Does being from Arizona give my application a slight boost? Thank you!
It won’t make up for deficiencies in other aspects of the application, if there are any. AZ is probably underrepresented at most Ivy League schools, but none of them need a student from AZ in the way that it may need an defensive tackle.
It might be a “nice-to-have,” but with 40K applications, it’s not a determining factor.
The real underrep state is North Dakota. Too late to probably consider a move.
