<p>I was looking at requirements for a geology major and a little weirded out by the fact that physics 7a and 7b were both required considering that the upper divs didn’t look that physics intensive.</p>
<p>I was wondering whether any existing geology majors could comment on the difficulty and intensity of the physics in upper div geology courses as compared to the difficulty level of the 7 series physics courses. </p>
<p>I enjoyed and am good at chemistry. I also enjoyed the high school geology classes I had taken (but nothing intensive at all). I did not, however, enjoy or do well in the 7a class i took last semester so i’m nervous about what the upper div geo classes will entail.</p>
<p>Any advice would be appreciated!</p>
