Help! looking for input from first hand experience that would help me decide between George Mason University or Seattle university both are in boundaries of a big city which I love. I’m from Idaho.

Can you give us (tuition+ R&B) - (grants+scholarships) = ?
What’s your parents’ budget?

Both Seattle and Washington DC are great cities- have you visited either? At GMU, you have a quiet suburban campus that is a metro ride away from the big city. I’m not sure if it is the same situation at Seattle. Some people prefer living on a quieter safer campus and commuting into the city, but others want to be right in the heart of the city, so you might want to consider that distinction, is there is one. If there is a significant cost difference I would choose the one that allows you to graduate with the least amount of debt, as both are good universities and I’m sure you can have a great experience at either one (you didn’t mention an intended major). Good luck!

Seattle U. is walking distance from downtown Seattle. It is not a suburban campus. It is full of cool-looking (hipster?) students.
