hi guys!!
so i posted a general chances post a while ago but i did just want to get into specifically talking about george school, which is my top choice. i really like the culture of the school as well as a lot of the things it offers so i am really keeping my fingers crossed!
i am applying for junior year & i have a 3.7 gpa, 1270 psat (i ended up submitting it) which is 97th percentile and 99th percentile for my state.
i am also an experienced actor and i did actually try and reach out to their arts director to ask about their drama program but i haven’t gotten a response yet! also, my interview went really well and i still keep in contact with her (somewhat).
the only things i have explicitly against me is that i need some FA and that i did get 2 c’s in the first semester of 9th grade, although i quickly was able to get them up to b+ in the second semester. i believe my extracurriculars make up for it though! i’m not going to list all of them but i do a lot of community service work especially regarding educating kids about consent and reporting abuse.
if there is anything else that is possible i can do to increase my chances, let me know!!
