It’s just in the “inspect” code part of the portal page with the checklist
wait how do I get to that
I’ve been asking that question for 3 days now…and crickets. So I think it’s irrelevant.
@Chickendog @zbeg This should let you see it on windows (Refer to the message Im replying to)
where do I press the ctrl shift I part tho?
Do that on the page that shows up after you hit “first year application,” otherwise your portal homescreen
What time are decisions coming out on Monday?
They havent said, just that it would release “In the evening.” Probably going to spring it onto us, or something like that.
When do their admissions offices close lol. It’s probably around then so they can’t be called
Did people do the optional GW supplementary common app essay-was that important to do?
I did, but I’m not sure how necessary it was. I didn’t even know it was optional, to be honest!
I submitted the supplementary essay because I figured it could only better my chances but honestly, the fact that it’s optional in the first place makes me think it won’t be held too strongly against any candidate that chooses not to submit one.
That said, it would really give GW another avenue to learn more about you.
I tried this a few days ago and it worked and saw everything you saw, now a few days later, I do not it anymore and my source code looks completely different
hmm. mine is still the same… anyone elses different?
I still have no idea how to get this mystical code to show up. I’m working off a Mac laptop. Have also tried off iPhone. Just. Does. Not. Work. No combination of CNTL + I or SHIFT+CNTL+U or whatever…none of it does anything on my screen.
I read on last year’s RD post that decisions went out at 4:00pm. Good luck to all!
Also, son DID do the supplemental essay. Unless the topic is completely unrelated to any aspect of your kid’s experience (such as a question about disabilities when your kid is a fully-abled kiddo or–a few years back–when there was an optional question about losing someone in the Pandemic), “optional” is not really optional…(college admissions counselor here).
Do you have to highlight on anything? Do you put the cursor anywhere on the page? I’ve even tried it in Chrome…no luck.
Same here, also using a Mac on Chrome.
No, that stuff is the actual code for the webpage, so you shouldnt have to highlight anything
Just right click, and the menu with “inspect” should pop up
Command + Option + i should work, per google
