Nephew wants to apply to GW ED for 2024-2025. Senior MA private school and wants to apply because his brother (soph) already attends. Has a 3.4 GPA and until senior year took no AP or honors courses, so not much rigor. No extracurriculars and a small part-time job this past summer. Did not take ACT or SAT. His parents can pay full freight. Does he have a chance? He thinks the ED acceptance rate and fact that his brother already attends makes it promising for him but I’m doubtful.
Unfortunately, it’s an extremely low chance. I got to GW and I don’t know anyone here that didn’t take multiple honors/AP courses.
I’m applying ED2 to GW for Political Communication, waiting to hear back today! Anybody know what time they’ll post decisions?
