Yes! I mean the 19th because last year it was the 20th that the last wave of decisions came out. My mistake!
No worries!
For everyone still waiting, I called earlier this week and they said they will be releasing decisions in July as well! So thereās for sure another wave.
I was honestly super surprised to have heard back today.
Iām definitely glad there will be another wave, but I cannot wait until July! I submitted my app in early March idk why I havenāt heard back yet
Happy for everyone who heard back today! Congrats you guys all deserve it. @rbevan lets hope for the rest of June.

I think what got me in was my essay and my extracurriculars. To give anyone hope, I was rejected when I applied last year as a high school senior.
@ablessinggg Iām hoping! Also congrats to everyone who got in!
Accepted yesterday (College of Arts and Sciences). Too bad theyāre a day late and a dollar short; Iāve already committed elsewhere. Generous aid package came with acceptance. Best of luck to all those who are still waiting.
@NewDay20 where did you end up committing?
@jelly2122, NYU
Has anyone heard anything about an admitted student group chat?
Also, financial aid is saying that my non-custodial css wasnāt submitted but it was and even American has it on file. Not sure what to do because I have no idea what the tuition will be
@faithcow2000 did they email you that it was missing? i only just found out that i was missing a form by looking in my portal, they never emailed me even though it was listed as missing back in april :(((((((( also i think there is a FB group but itās not very active, we should create a gc
@jelly2122 No they hadnāt emailed me at all! I submitted some forms earlier that they said were missing and my portal had reset to my financial aid docs being completed. Then when I got my decision it said it was missing. Ugh!!
In terms of a group chat, I think thatās a good idea! I really wanna get a feel for what the other transfer students are like
Financial aid has been AWFUL. I was admitted a month ago and despite hours on the phone and multiple emails, I still have not got my package. It is nearly impossible. They tell me everything is right and then something else shows up āmissingā when every other school received it.
For everyone who got accepted, did you get an email or check your portal?
@izrose Thatās awful to hear! Iāve emailed them the css confirmation and I will be calling first thing in the morning. But, I had to talk to TWO different people and my social security and last name werenāt linking in the system. This whole thing is just not great.
Iām super excited to have gotten in but I canāt plan anything without my financial aid package
@ablessinggg I received an email and it basically told me I was in and it had a direct download of my transfer credits.
For those acceptedā¦does anyone know when you have to deposit by? Canāt find that info anywhere.
I am the same way! I really want to go there but canāt commit without a promising financial aid package. They have said everything has been missing when every single other school received and reviewed it with no problem.
@Jen136 On the gwu portal, it says we have to āmake it officialā by July 10, 2020. Iāll attached a pdf that contains more info on it as well.
Has anyone received info on acceptable transfer credits? I havenāt received anything regarding which classes will be accepted. Iām not sure who ot contact either.
