My main concern is how competitive is this program? I am a senior with a 3.97 GPA with 5 AP classes. SAT: Critical Reading 650, Math 670, Writing 610, overall 1930
I have over 200 hours of physician shadowing and volunteering. Place in the top 15% of my school plus I am in-state. I will have good rec’s from respected teachers also
What would my chances be for admission to a program like this?

With your test scores, nearly zero if you are unhooked. (Test scores are crucial to such programs because they are concerned about your testing ability not only for the mcat, but Step 1, which you take in med school.)

you need to have 98th or 99th percentile sats and sat IIs and be top in your class.

each med school class is only around 120 kids and they get 10,000+ apps.

they don’t save spots that easily.

sorry to be a downer, gohan but the 7 year programs with a guarantee at private colleges generally require Ivy-level stats, i.e, 2100/32, for consideration. Note, Saint Louis Uni has a lower threshold for its Medical Scholars program, but it does not guarantee med school admission.

there is also this program…kind of a backdoor but you still need to keep a 3.6
