George Washington vs. Franklin & Marshall

So I applied RD to GW and F&M, during which time F&M was my absolute top choice. Well, they waitlisted me, and I was devastated. About a week later I got accepted into GW, they’re offering me over $29,000 in grants alone, and admittance to a special community service oriented program. After visiting GW I felt very confident it was the college for me, but I just received an email from F&M, after trying to forget about them, that I got off the waitlist.
If I go to GW my major will be International Affairs, which I know is incredible at GW, if I switch to F&M I’ll probably double major in Government and Public Policy.
I’m also strongly considering going to law school after undergrad.
I feel like I should probably stick with GW, but some outside advice could really be helpful right now!

Stick with the school where you received the most money…and that’s GW. Since you are heavily considering law school, it’s smart to go with the school that is more affordable. Community service program…do you mean the Pro Bono program? I Googled it and it looks really good.

Do what your heart tells you to do which sounds like it is staying with GW. The fact that GW is cheaper is a bonus.

It’s called the Civic House program…after looking into it and talking with the director of the program I thought it sounded like a great way to engage myself with DC. F&M said they’ll get back to me in a few days on financial aid, so I guess I should wait until then to see what happens.

The amount of the scholarship matters less than the net direct cost to your family. Can you provide, for each, (tuition, fees, room, board) - (scholarships, grants)? (DO NOT deduct any loan).
