My GPA was a 4.3 and I believe that my essays, LORs, and ECs were good
Do the SAT Subject Tests count towards the decision in any way other than showing that a student completed extra tests? As a homeschooler I completed 3 SAT Subject Tests but they are all pretty mediocre compared to my SAT and ACT test scores.
@kasabnk Honestly, I think subject test scores do carry a little weight, but not as much weight as many think. I think Georgetown uses the 3 subject tests requirement not only for extra statistical information, but also to see that applicants are serious enough about Georgetown that they’d willingly study for/take 3 subject tests.
Good scores can help, but I think as long as you have 2 tests over the 700+ range, it shouldn’t hurt.

Son got rejected. 50-cent postage with window. Expected, as he didn’t interview and did not submit the three “recommended” SAT subject tests, and only submitted second part of application two weeks ago.
He’ll most likely attend our state’s public flagship university, then go on to law school. Perhaps he’ll even apply to Georgetown Law.
Does anyone know when Georgetown is going to release financial aid?
