Just checked the portal. Rejected with 3.8 UW/4.1 W and 1430 SAT. I don’t really know how to feel. I didn’t expect an acceptance, but I thought I had a chance. I’ve been rejected from every private school I’ve applied to…starting to feel hopeless.

Last decision for S19. Going out with a whimper . . . waitlisted! I guess that is fitting since we started out with two deferrals!! At least he has many great options. Good luck to all on your decisions.

Waitlisted with .50 postage and clear window. Saw it on informed delivery and expected a rejection.
SAT 1570, GPA 4.5, multiple activities, IB Diploma, high scores on AP tests, etc… She only took one SAT 2 subject test and scored 790 (US History).
Georgetown was her #1 when she started applying and was deferred early action. She has become far less interested in Georgetown since visiting other schools and receiving great merit scholarships. And reality is no one came off the waitlist last year so the waitlist just seems like a long good bye. Maybe this year will be different? Good luck to all who decide to attend.
When will financial aid info be given? Nothing on the portal about financial aid that we could find.

@manyoptions No, there was no financial aid portrayed on any of the 4 documents. I believe they sent financial aid packages in the mail today.
my son’s financial aid was in the my access. Acceptance letter tells you how to set up your password etc and then you can log in to find it.
Don’t feel hopeless. You are the same person you were before you heard from these schools that “rejected you”. As a parent I am seriously amazed at all the amazing people I know who have not gotten into top tier schools. I am not sure what is going on but you are all amazing!

For those asking about financial aid, the acceptance letter includes your NetID login/password, and I was able to view my financial aid amount right away, no need to wait for a letter!
