@aznricechef yes, but from my experience (and others) acceptance letters are thicker.
Is there any way to tell the difference between a waitlist envelope and an acceptance? I’m not allowed to open it and the suspense is killing me
Sorry for the repetition- acceptance letters aren’t packets as they are in other colleges?
no acceptance has higher postage price is the only difference. Waitlist and denials will likely be the same at .46 cents.
@csheller16, if the waitlist letter is .46 postage, I assume that is first class and not priority.
What about the postage for acceptance letters?
Received an acceptance letter in Southeast Massachusetts. $0.67 postage. Four sheets of paper.
Anyone knowledgeable about Early Assurance for med who can share more details about it on this thread?
@TheCrimsonBulldog, Congrats! I think you are the first to post an acceptance today.
@20and21, .67 means acceptance. .46 means wait list or denied.
@HYPSPlease Don’t know why…but the relation between price tag and admission decision seems amusing :-?
That means I have a waitlist then - thanks for the info!
Quick question.
Does Georgetown send its decision only through an envelope?
I thought every college sends a big DHL or USPS package if accepted.
I’m too anxious to school right now
Dont you guys have school? I cant check my mail till 2
@TheCrimsonBulldog Congrats!! Do you mind posting stats?
My full stats should be somewhere in one of my previous replies to another thread, but here are the basics:

800/750/750 SAT IIs (Math 2, Lit, US History)
4.5 W GPA (3.98 UW)
Upper-middle class white male, Catholic school
Wicked solid essays
A plethora of ECs
@parisgeller I’m not gonna be at my house until Thursday… my host dad is there and he told me that he’ll let me know when something arrives but I’m still so anxious (I wish I could see it myself)
@TheCrimsonBulldog thanks for posting again!
Accepted from NY, so shook
32 ACT
No sat2s (lol)
4.0UW/4.5ish GPA
Rank: 2
Pretty good EC’s and essays, my interview went really well.
I was really expecting a rejection. To those who didn’t get in, you’re still amazing and will succeed no matter where you end up.
