Waitlisted at Georgetown College…I guess I could’ve been flat out rejected considering my 3.76 GPA which is low compared to most applicants so I’m happy

From Northern Virginia. I didn’t pay attention to the stamp, but the letter came in a regular white envelope, and you could clearly see the blue form from inside. I’m honestly shocked I got in. Good luck to everyone that has yet to receive a decision!

Rejected in Florida. 4.0 UW with 33 act, 34 super score. Three subject tests with above 730 on all of them. Applied to SFS, a childhood dream gone.

Interview was probably my strength
I expected a rejection due to my low subject test scores but im pretty happy about the waitlist, even though it just complicates things because I’m already into some of my tops. Congrats to all who got in!! Georgetown is a great area/school

@Joyboy66 that makes no sense. What school applied to? Doesn’t make sense for any of them though. And not even a wait list. Maybe have the counselor call to get some answers. Might be they thought your DS wouldn’t go there, but then I would expect a waitlist. Very strange and I’m sorry for you both.
