I would assume that the number of RD applications has gone down (following the trend from last year and from EA), but I wasn’t able to find any numbers from this year yet.
Ok so can’t relate I’m not at the top 5% of my class BUT here are my stats/other info
SAT: 1360
GPA:4.4
AP Scholar with honors (meaning I’ve gotten a 3-5 on every AP test I have taken)
Kansas Honors Scholar (oh ya I’m from KS btw)
Received a letter from KS governor abt being at the top 10% of my class
I am the editor-in-chief of the yearbook staff at school meaning I manage the production of an over-400pg book and around 40ish other students with a publications company
I am a part of a program at my school called We The People which is like an AP Gov class that does competitions
First-Gen college student
Persian (wrote abt my heritage and culture in my essays)
Schools I’ve gotten into: KU Honors, Baylor (didn’t apply for honors), American University Honors
I’m also a apart of NHS, Science and Spanish NHS and Journalism International Honor Society.
I know I’m not the “ideal” Gtown student bc of my SAT but my essays were really strong so I’m hoping and praying I get in :))

Does anyone know when they will start mailing out letters? Or if they will even mail them out or switch to portal decisions?
@collgedreamng121 They’re usually mailed sometime within in the last three days of March. They release portal decisions, but it is usually at a later date. If they decide to change that this year considering the circumstances, hopefully they’ll let us know, so keep checking your email!
I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t send mail this year to be safer with this virus. Especially since many people might be working remotely and/or students that helped in admissions are no longer there.

Ugh I’m so nervous for Georgetown decisions, so heres a last minute chance me

4.83 W
3.86 UW
12 APs (4 and 5s with one 3)
mostly STEM bases ECs including math team and rocketry team
2 sport varsity athlete, captain of one of those teams
applied to walsh with the major “science technology and international affairs”
Georgetown is one of my top choices, hoping they release decisions soon.

I applied to the Walsh School of Foreign Service for a major in international politics! I also uploaded a resume that I made via Adobe software and like I have a website and everything so hopefully they looked at it!
My best guess is March 28/29 based on previous years and because they seem to release on weekends. Hang in there everyone!
