There can be a number of reason why Georgetown might have calculated a much higher family contribution than fafsaā€¦for example, if your parents are divorced, own a business, or own real estate beyond a primary homeā€¦are any of these the case for your family?

In order to appeal there must be something like a change in financial circumstances (job loss,etc.), or a one-time large income/asset event, or a larger award from a peer schoolā€¦things of that nature. Anything like that?

Deferred EA students are automatically considered for RD right? Leading up to EA I got a lot of communication but recently I donā€™t think Iā€™ve received anything

Sure as hell hope so haha. When I got waitlisted at UNC and deferred from UVA and had to fill out forms I was worried I missed something for Gtown but I think itā€™s automatic.

They say itā€™s April 1, but there are some speculations that itā€™s gonna be released earlier. They send an e-mail when the update is already made to the portal

just looks like speculation based on that other colleges are releasing tomorrow unfortunately

there is a rumor that they might do it tomorrow.
Someone also said this Sunday, no clue why they would choose Sunday.

EA decisions came out on sunday, dec 13 this year so i guess theyre going off of that

they updated portals for EA so theres no reason to believe its any different RD
