yea, this happened to me too. i was telling people to wait for decisions for my sanity’s sake because i couldn’t sign up for the admitted students thing, but i got accepted. i think it might have been after they figured out that students were trying to hack the system, but i’m not sure.

waitlisted w/ horrible interview and essays LOL. 1590, 3.97 uw, good ecs

4.4 gpa weighted.
1340 SAT
2 hour interview
Lots of EC including internship for Fr Greg Boyle SJ at HomeBoy Industries; mock trial captain 2 years and MVP 2 years; and took care of his mom in hospice at age of 14. She passed from cancer.
Georgetown is his dream school and he will now have to weigh it against Cal, USC, Boston College and a UCLA waitlist. Columbia decision comes out tomorrow.
This kid has weathered so much. I am so happy for him.

Same I got waitlisted

Does anyone know how the finaid works? It says I’m missing my FAFSA and K-1 form and I don’t see a preliminary offer. I checked on the FAFSA website and it says it has been processed.

Georgetown may not have received your processed FAFSA yet (things are taking a long time transferring files to the schools).

But, get that K-1 in ASAP.
