It’s by April 1st, but people have said it has come out a bit earlier than that in the past.
Last year, some (all?) admitted students received a letter in the mail a few days prior to the portal notification. Wondering if it will work the same way this year
Does anyone have the Georgetown application portal site? For some reason I can’t find it and the site I did find is saying Not Found. Thank you
Is this it? Found a link on their website…
https://uapply.georgetown.edu/account/login?r=https%3A%2F%2Fuapply.georgetown.edu%2Fapply%2Fform%3Fid%3De9d89ed4-ff8e-46a2-83f4-38b640eb90ab&cookie=1
This is the link to the application portal: https://uapply.georgetown.edu/account/login, the link Bruno sent above does work, but it sends you to the application change page.
Thank you both.
With next week being Holy Week, is it likely that decisions would be on April 1?
Someone on Reddit posted that Google shows decisions sent 3/23 in 2018, and Easter was April 1 that year.
My guess is the 27th.
No classes for Easter break - Thursday, March 28–Monday, April 1-- so March 27 makes sense to me but then again nothing really makes too much sense.
just curious—since georgetown requires you to send all test scores, will a low initial score hurt even if the final score is well above average? my first score was 1340, which is well below their 25th percentile, but my final score was a 1590
I think Georgetown would look more towards the upward trend in test scores. Considering that Georgetown uses only the highest scores out of all of the test attempts, theyd consider your 1590.
One thing to note however, is that they will still see how many attempts it took to get to that 1590, and that may have an impact.
that’s a heck of an improvement
yeah haha i didn’t really study before the first sitting and had some math deficiencies, so i ended up getting 730/610 split. since math is generally the easiest section to improve, it just took some studying in between tests to get my score up
is there a possibility of decisions coming out today since they usually align with gwu decisions?
no, they’ve never aligned perfectly, and 2 years ago, the decisions came out march 29th. i would not be surprised if they came out on april 1st due to volume of applications this year.
They usually come out before April 1st, but I doubt it’d be as early as today… maybe around Wednesday or on Ivy Day would be a safer guess?
I do think it will be on Thursday or earlier this week. Good Friday and the Easter holiday are surely factors for the admissions staff, I would think. I believe the University is closed on Friday.
Agreed!
I heard it came out on Ivy Day last year. I predict we’ll hear something this week.
