It seems perhaps as “much” as 3% off waitlist might gather a slot. Won’t be holding breath. Does anyone know if their WL is prioritized or is it targeted based on other metrics of acceptance based on their torrid demographics/stats/geography?
Georgetown said in their letter that the WL wasn’t “ranked,” and that each individual would undergo review by the admissions council for acceptance if a spot opens up. I’d assume it just be a review of whatever you submitted as a part of your application alongside any LOCI Updates would be what the final decision is based upon.
I’d assume that certain factors like geograph/demographics could potentially play a role, alongside the main decider - open spots in each of the Schools in Georgetown.

Because I applied to the Qatar campus I definitely think I’ll get accepted off the waitlist cuz it’s much easier and I got a higher chance at getting accepted mainly due to the demographics of the country
Mulling over some things, I’ve looked at the old waitlist threads and apparently, we could be placed on an “extended waiting list” that extends even further in to summer. Wonder if they’ll also consider our final transcripts if those are finalized by then.

Anyone see any stories about em admitting people off the waitlist early? Seeing the trend of other universities accepting people off the waitlists early, wonder if Georgetown will/is planning to do the same.
However, considering that Georgetown is Georgetown… I highly doubt it.
Today marks the end of April and the real ■■■■ bout to unfold, I’ve been seeing slot of students get accepted off the waitlist at other universities too but idc when they’ll respond back to me cuz nowadays I’ve been breaking the habit of putting my phone on dnd as I really don’t wanna miss out on a life changing call lol.
