Perhaps, but Im not 100% sure. Some schools have waited until the last day that they themselves say to release results, so I’m sure that we’ll get some sort of update by tomorrow.
Perhaps it’ll be a placement on an extended waitlist, or something else - that is up in the air.
and the waiting continues

I just got an email from Georgetown since one of my teachers finally submitted a lor I requested a couple of weeks ago and oh my god I almost had a heart attack when I saw Georgetown Undergraduate Admissions in my inbox.
What did the email say?
Just confirming receipt of the additional letter of recommendation. It unfortunately wasn’t an update on waitlist status.

I would say that it is very unlikely anyone is accepted off the waitlist without a call. It appears that is the process for Georgetown in years past and also this year from the bits of intel gathered from here and Reddit. Schools tend to be very consistent in their approach.
Someone on Reddit just got an email highly insinuating that they will be getting accepted off the waitlist if willing to attend

Have faith. Doesn’t seem like many folks at all across here and Reddit have heard. And it is typically today. Hang in there all.
At this point, Ive put Georgetown 95% out of my mind. Ive sent in a deposit to another school where Im perfectly happy going, so I’m fine not getting off the WL.
In the end, Ill just try and go to Georgetown for Medical School lol.
My friend got an email two days ago to set up a call and spoke to the AO shortly after that. No official offer was made. 1. The AO wanted to know if my friend still wanted to attend Georgetown even after having put a deposit down elsewhere (Answer- Yes)
2. AO wanted to tell her that she was likely not getting any financial aid so could she still attend as full pay of offered the position. (Answer - Yes)
AO also said that the committee was meeting on the 15th and 16th so that the Committee would have answers out but Thursday (the 16th)
Has anyone heard anything today? Email or call?
