@Maverick2326 I called them today and it is confirmed that there is no funding for international transfer student.
@Maverick2326 so are you still going to attend Georgetown even though they are not offering you any money?
Am I doomed to get rejected if I haven’t heard back from College yet? I feel like rejections would be the first to be notified…
@Gonzalo0927 oh but not all schools do that right? I got into GW and UVA, still haven’t heard back from Gtown, but I’m trying to figure out if there’s alternative financial aid since I don’t qualify for fafsa
Those accepted, how were you notified of FA? How many days after the acceptance email?
@Itsmoose365 no don’t worry they are just releasing the decisions as they make them they still have a lot of time. All the decisions come out on or before June 1st so there is still lots of hope. My admissions person said people get accepted on the last day. Don’t lose hope!
If you want to be demolarized, go over to the Columbia U. transfer thread for this year, around May 3rd, and you’ll feel better.
@luci ballon as long as you are not an international student you will get something.
I was accepted to columbia but still have not heard formally from g town ughhh, i wana go to GU
@luci ballon I got into GW as well and they told me they were not gonna give me any money at all. Georgetown was my best bet.
Was accepted to GU. I have a somewhat interesting story, so if you’re interested, PM me.
@Jsp718 It took me roughly a week to get my FA package, however I did make some inquiries about it and emailed my officer so that might have sped up the process. I have a friend that was accepted couple weeks before me and she has not heard back.
Thank you for the information, Gonzalo0927. Did you get the FA package via email or post mail?
@Gonzalo0927 Dang really? I was just about to call them to see if they would give me any money.
I called the FA office. I was told FA notification would be 7-10 days from today after I gave them my last name. My last name starts with a P.
Hey guys, if we have not heard yet does that mean rejection?
@bobsmith5101 not necessarily. Admissions should still be rolling. I would start worrying during the last week of May
From an email sent to alumni interviewers “Admissions Committees are still in the midst of transfer application reviews” so there’s that.
why do they take so long to email a real decision? Can they not just tell me I am rejected
when are deposits due for those who have been accepted?
