In regards to the learning environment of each school, how competitive and cutthroat are the pre med programs at georgetown, duke, notre dame and brown? I am not into the whole competition and want a more collaborative learning environment, especially in the science classes (since I want to eventually go to medical school). Also, when picking one of these schools, does the name recognition of one help more than the other when applying to medical school? Thanks!
