I DESPERATELY WANT AN INTERVIEW!

Today I received an email to schedule an interview with an alumni. Has anyone had an interview? is this a good sign or is this what they do for everyone that appl to univ?
Thanks for your help

What are my chances for MSB? I am currently a freshman at Tulane.
HS STATS: 3.79 GPA, 640M, 720V SAT, 31 ACT
I had a lot of work experience and was involved in a few service clubs
College: 3.84/4.0, Great rec, member of a bunch of business related clubs

has anyone had to schedule an interview for the college or have they just been for MSB and the school of nursing?

I am confused…I applied to the college (FLL) and am not absolutely sure if I am responsible for pursuing an interview or the school will make contacts on my behalf. Or is an interview just out of the question this late in the game?

Also, when are we expecting to hear back from G-town?

Vegas, when I talked to the admissions office they said that they would be contacting us in regards to the interview. I was also told that it really depends on the availability of interviewers in your area.

@Vegas247: I didn’t get one last year. I even knew the local alumni chapter president. It is completely up to them and if they find someone with a schedule open to interview you.

Hi everyone, Im also applying for the fall as a junior. I received an email just 30 minutes ago with the information of an interviewer. Does anyone know if that is a good sign?

hi everyone, i have a question regarding the secondary school report. I am an international student who have graduated from high school a few years back, and in my country, students are given their original transcripts upon graduation.

I understand that it’s required, but taking into account that my high school may no longer have my records, can i just send the transcripts directly to the gtown without the secondary school form?

zdnomsed: I would certainly contact Georgetown in regards to the question and tell them your situation.

TatiTransfer: When did you send out your application?

Hi Vegas247, I sent the whole application postmarked on March 1st. Are you applying for the fall?

haha oops sorry I just went up the page and saw that yes you are applying. Either way, as for your question, I thought that the school would contact you for an interview. Have you been contacted at all? You can always just call admissions, request one and see what they say. Good luck!

Does GU have an online app tracker or anything? Or will we only hear from before the decision date them if we have something missing?

I got my interview notification in email, I live in Brooklyn so plenty of alum here. They ask you to contact the alum yourself but give you info.
