@user_786688 its pretty frustrating but hang in there. Part of it might be my fault for turning the app in after the deadline but there seems to be no rhyme or reason to their decision releases so I can’t be certain. This waves nonsense is for the birds!
Accepted to MSB for Finance yesterday morning!
- middle 50% in terms of HS GPA lol
- 0.727 GPA at state school studying bio
- dropped out and went to cc and have a 4.0
- decent amount of job experience regarding finance and accounting (CPA, finance intern, bank work)
- tutor, mentor for intellectually disabled students, and students at risk of dropping out
- led campaign on national debt and did research projects about media manipulation in political advertisements and impact on attrition rates by public transportation
- essays were about embracing faith as a supplement to my education being involved in activism and meeting with many different political parties and leaders explained my terrible GPA and what i have learned from not following your passions my research on GU initiatives were not that great, i just related my experiences at my school to better opportunities they offer.
- interview went pretty well, it was over the phone and we had more of a conversation than just a Q&A. Talked about how GU offers all-encompassing religious services and asked interviewer about their experiences. *looked them up beforehand so i could talk about certain things that occured around their timeline.

@TenTsewang4 Congrats! I applied to MSB too but didn’t receive anything and the wait sucks. I’m assuming you’re going in as a junior transfer?

I asked for an early read almost a week ago because one of my colleges that I’ve been accepted to’s deadline to commit is coming up extremely soon and Georgetown said they would provide me a decision in a few days when I sent that email…not at all hating on those of you who’ve been accepted (awesome accomplishment!!) it’s just really frustrating to hear now that other people have been hearing back in the last few days but they’re not telling me anything even when they said they would

for early read ppl: i also attached my proof of admission to other colleges in my email requesting for an early read, and they thanked me for doing so in their reply to me and said they would’ve asked me to do that if i hadn’t done so already. so maybe if you asked and haven’t heard back from them whatsoever, if you haven’t already sent them proof of admissions to other schools, maybe that would help you at least get some kind of response from them!
Accepted to Georgetown College at 10:45 pm last night!
Just a quick summary, I’m a rising junior, 4.0 gpa at a public liberal arts school in South Carolina, psychology major. Had pretty good essays and recommendations! Let me know if y’all want any information! good luck to all of y’all, stay hopeful :))
