same I got waitlisted too
Rejected Have a 3.85 college GPA and a 32 ACT but guess that wasn’t good enough? Curious now what your stats were for those of you waitlisted…
did anyone get accepted to msb?
Rejected from SFS with a 4.0 GPA This one really hurts
Finally got the decision. Didn’t get in. Applied to msb. Wish you all the best of luck.
Rejected but already accepted my offer to Northeastern anyway ope
Rejected from nursing which I knew would be a long shot anyway, accepted a spot at NYU.
waitlisted msb but will not be accepting the spot- good luck to everyone!
Waitlisted for both semesters…
In their letter they said " The University will welcome a small cohort of transfer students to campus in January 2022, most of whom will be selected from this waiting list." I am out of energy now tbh, but this might be a last hope. Is everyone’s letter all like this? Just curious…
Yep, same letter.
I applied for nursing but my letter said they had over 2600 applicants for 50 spots, a 5% acceptance rate. The 50 spots is including everyone for the cohort, not just transfers.
I believe it’s with regards to transfer applicants. 2,600 applicants for 50 transfer spots.
like most schools, i’m pretty sure their rate dropped this year
i’m estimating about 70-100 students accepted for their 50 spots since not everyone will accept

So I got waitlisted. Not sure what my chances are now but I’ll honestly take that. Georgetown is my dream school and I applied last year as a senior in high school and got flat out rejected. Since they say on the letter that a small cohort of applicants mostly from the waitlist will be accepted for Spring 2022 admission, do they consider preference when deciding who to accept? If you want to be considered for both Fall and Spring, it asks which one you prefer. So, for example, if I indicate that I prefer fall admission but the committee decides that they want me for Spring admission, will they no longer consider me then? I really have no preference so I was wondering if the preference matters in their decision.
FOR ALL THOSE WAITLISTED:
I know they require sending in the final transcript and a letter of continued interest, but should I also include a letter of recommendation from a professor?
Can’t hurt.
