I called the admissions office today, they told me that they accept people through the mail.
@mcraigmorse not necessarily. Today was the first and largest batch of kids. My admissions counselor said that if I don’t accept my admission, she will want to know ASAP so she can extend the offer to another applicant, which means that it’s not 100% over yet. You might be placed on an extended waitlist. Nevertheless, if you did not hear from them today, I would think your chances of admission are lowered significantly.
@SouthernHope I’m in the US!
Thanks @pianogeek C’est la vie.
@MissBo, did you get a call before receiving the email?
it mean no acceped will get nothing?
@kitty1 non-accepts will only get a rejection letter in the mail, I believe
thanks
any international students who have received an email of any sort (accepted/rejected)?
Did not get any notification today that waitlist is closed. I am in Washington State. Anyone else?
Yea I called the admissions yesterday and learned that I am rejected:(
@foxlilian yep I received a phone call earlier this week
u may call the admission office and find out your status if you are international applicant
are you interational ?
are u international? what did they say ? tell you are rejected or extended waitlist? How come nothing even for international? supposed they will send out email to international applicant in the past.
im taking myself off the sfs waitlist today…
just heard from mit :DDDDDDDDDD
I am international. Lady on the phone said that they are unable to offer me admission but they will send an official mail soon. She also said if I have any other questions I can call the office whenever I want to. She sounded like I am rejected at first, but why would she think that I can have any other questions if I am totally done with Gtown? I will wait for the official mail, maybe I am on the extended waitlist.
congrats!
extended wl
Ackack… How do you know?
