<p>Is Georgetown's Government department actually any good? </p>
<p>I ask this knowing that the general word on the street is that GTown is the goto place for poli-sci and IR. However, I would like some well knowledged reassurance. Are there published rankings of undergraduate poli-sci programs? Georgetown's graduate school in government is ranked in the high 40s. Not very good.</p>
<p>The location in D.C. is hard to match by any other university. I realize this. But academically, how does Georgetown match up?</p>
