<p>This year my daughter will have about $10,000 of taxable income, $3000 from a job and $7,000 from the taxable portion of her scholarships.</p>
<p>I read on CC that Alabama does not require a student to pay Alabama State income tax on the taxable portion of scholarships. Does anyone know if the state of Georgia has a similar exclusion?
I didn’t see anything on the Georgia IRS website but I am hoping I just couldn’t find it.</p>
