13 APs by graduation
4s and 5s on all AP exams so far
1980 first time taking SAT- Retaking twice before final submission, and I’m studying my little butt off.
Class Rank: 128 out of 820
Extra Stuff: Leadership in Girls Learn International + Girls Who Code, NAHS, 4 years of band (which I’ll continue in college.), 4 years of Japanese (which I’ll continue in college.), Girl Scout, decent essay writer, low income family with single parent + a younger brother who I look after for the better part of my time.

And the cherry on top, I was homeless for 2 years when I was 13-15 years old.

Thoughts, anyone? Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and one more thing! I’m doing Early Application + A visit to the campus in October.

Also, I volunteer at my local animal shelter.

You should definitely address your situation in your application. It should help your chances (though I’m not sure by how much).
