Unlike other schools like UT- Austin etc., Georgia Tech rejects most EA2 applicants. Only approx 20% or less of the entire pool not accepted are deferred.. So, if your daughter is deferred, look at that as a victory. My DS was deferred last cycle and later admitted in late March in RD. Don’t give up hope if deferred.

When I saw countdown, I thought my child may be getting in. Guess everyon is seeing it.

check application status - you should see that “Decisions to be posted soon” with an arrow…click on that and you get the countdown timer. 7 PM

after being clowned on hella by the NYU thread (2,000+ messages) I have given up on portal astrology. the only accurate thing was for NYU the housing portal let you in like 10 minutes before decisions.

My son has worked for admissions at his university (not GA Tech). He says that they like to release decisions at the end of the day on Friday so that they will have a couple of days after decision release when they don’t have to answer the phones. (“Why wasn’t my child admitted??”)

Totally. “Oh, they were denied but because you called…we will totally reconsider”. lol
Will students receive alternative transfer pathways/summer start offers this round? Or are they released during the RD round? 30 minutes to go.

super disappointed because I thought less people would apply to scheller.
I am legacy too but I got no information about conditional transfer… does anyone know when I get to know if I qualify etc.
