Pretty sure that worked this fall - there was some way you could back door into seeing the acceptance letter. Didn’t appear until Friday though.

I actually have tried this with other colleges. It won’t show until the time they say. My guess is that the software used has a timed release feature and it does not move decisions from the college end of the software to the applicant end until that time. So it would take more (actual hacking) than just inspecting element or something to see the letter before that time.

tried this on UMass Amherst (~1hr away) and it didn’t work
This may not be the link then. I am not computer savvy but in one of these older threads there is a link that worked mid afternoon before decision release where you could see your decision letter. Whatever that link was worked in December

Interesting. I’m not sure what link it was, but I don’t think it was this one unless G tech uses a different setting that basiaclly all other colleges.
This was the link we used from this post - at least I think. If so it worked in the fall.

They don’t work. That was from 2014 when GT had an entierly different computer system for admissions.
Link worked last fall for my current GT freshman. Maybe decisions not loaded or they closed the loophole. It didn’t work until Friday afternoon though. GT loads decisions on Friday and early afternoon after decisions are loaded portals change.
In the past pay now button in Oscar meant acceptance, but they closed that loophole in 2021 or 2022 and this fall My Offer Letter in Oscar also meant acceptance- showed up at 3 pm or so. As they hear about these hacks they fix them though so who knows. I had kids applying to GT for 2019, 2021 and 2023 so we have been through this a few times.

Why would they send a financial aid offer if they haven’t received the FAFSA yet?
It’s not a financial aid offer. There’s nothing on the link. The link just populates - has nothing to do with FASFA or applying for financial aid. We did not apply for financial aid, and it was in my son’s portal, and in all of his friends who got in. The ones that didn’t get in didn’t have it. Was a very accurate indicator according to last year‘s thread.
In OSCAR, There is a “submit” button on he page Financial Aid/Financial Aid Dashboard/My Offers, I feel it wasn’t there yesterday, but could be wrong. I assume everyone have it, right?

Guys!!1!1 I just found a major indicator! On my portal, there’s a section on my portal called “Complete Your Enrollment”! Does This mean I got in?
There’s always been 4 categories IIRC. I forget what the fourth one was but it’s possible it’s always been that, in which case it would mean nothing. Was it not always like that?
