Now I understand all of the “portal astrology” with GT. With the other schools so far, my son has only gotten portal access after he was admitted so there was nothing really to look at while waiting. I must admit I’ve enjoyed looking around the portal.
honestly georgia tech should be embarassed about this kind of thing. Very annoying stuff because all other schools (including schools not advertised as ‘TECH’) don’t have these issues.

If GT didn’t give us access to all this stuff before admission I wouldn’t be compulsively checking this board lol. Probably would be a lot more productive

I know! And I’ve learned a more about GT. I know their academic calendar and have perused quite of bit of their course catalog. lol
Each round, people obsess over the portal but only a small percentage get accepted due to how competitive it is. Good luck to everyone!

I’ve learned what Houston, we have a problem means due to GTs robust portal.
Unfortunately, most of our kids/us will be disappointed tomorrow. The folks here though all have amazing statistics. Good luck everyone!
what do you mean? for all users I see like personal information, meal plan; for registration I see register for classes etc; and financial aid has the financial aid dashboard etc

I tried to access Ignite, get an error message.
But we are on CC and understand having this access means nothing. Many applicants may not know this and the access to Oscar could be misleading. We are all OOS and the acceptance rate is in the single digits.

Used a screen recording to see what appears on OSCAR when I refresh- Students-Registration pops up and quickly disappears. Does this happen for you guys as well?
