Do you have to be accepted to the engineering program and the university separately or if you are accepted to the University can you major in the field of your choice? If the latter than is it more difficult to be accepted to the school if you distinguish what major you will be planning to be involved in?

You do not have to apply to the engineering program and the university separately–that would be counterintuitive, since GT is an engineering school. I imagine that some majors are more sought after than others, however.

That is what I assumed. So say that two people are goiong to Georgia Tech for Buissness and Engineering. Do they both have equal chances of being accepted?

It just seems strange they have over a 60 percent acceptance rate yet they have the forth highest Engineering program and the 3rd highest BME program.
