[For NY’ers, as we are the only state w/ the Regents I believe]

I’m self-studying the regents and in these last few weeks/months I’d like to make my study routine super-efficent cause I’m aiming for a 100 or so on the regents. Anyone who has taken it or will be taking it also got some advice for what to do and what to expect, it’s difficulty and such?

The German Regents really isn’t difficult. I don’t know how good your school’s German program is, but as long as you’re fairly competent you should do well. My only advice is to find some sample questions of the writing section and acquire some basic essay-writing skills for it.

Do you know how much the writing section is worth? Based on what I saw while looking at a practice regents scoring key it seemed to be worth between 16 and 24 points - is that true?
