<p>How complex is the german program? I took four years of german in high school and plan on taking the placement exam. How demanding is the class and how much work is given? How difficult are the exams?</p>

<p>i took three years of german in high school, tested into german 21, tried it, a bit much for me. i’m taking german 20 fall quarter. four years should get you into 21 or 22.
i was only in the class for a week but in 21 we had homework every meeting (3 times a week, but german 1 2 3 meets every day) so it was pretty work intensive. this can be expected learning any language though</p>

<p>i would take it fall so if you want to do 20 21 22 you can do it in a year. 21 was taught in german so i wouldn’t be surprised if 20 was, and even if it is, you have your peers to help you out, you’re not alone.</p>
